Jesus Is Still The Answer

The late singer Andre Crouch wrote the song: “Jesus Is the Answer!” The lyrics to the song said: “Jesus is the answer for the world today, above Him there’s no other, Jesus is the way; if you have some questions in the corners of your mind, and traces of discouragement and peace you cannot find; reflections of the old past, they seem to face you every day, but there’s one thing I know for sure that Jesus is the Way; I know you have mountains that you think you cannot climb, I know you have dark skies and you think the sun will not shine; but in case you don’t know, I’m here to let you know that the Word of God is true, and everything that God promised He will do it for you, because Jesus is the answer for the  world today.”

So, no matter what you’re going through in life and the numerous questions you may be struggling with in your mind, always know Jesus never runs out of answers or the ability to solve your problems. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8: “Ask, and it shall be given you (note: not might be but shall be); seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one (note: not some people but everyone) that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

But you may say, I have asked, sought, and knocked, but I didn’t get an answer! Well, first of all, whenever you see the letters “eth” at the end of any word in the Bible, it means to continue. So, in these verses it means to “continue to ask, continue to seek, and continue to knock until God answers you. Jeremiah 29:13 said: “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” That’s a promise that cannot be broken! However, make sure you’re doing your part!

Psalm 84:11b said: “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Also, we must exercise patience as we wait because Galatians 6:9 said: “And let us not be not weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Lastly, make sure there is no unforgiveness that you are harboring towards anyone!

Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” I’m not saying forgiveness is easy when people have genuinely hurt you, but they are not worth you giving up God’s mercy on your life. Someone once said unforgiveness is like you taking rat poison to get back at someone who has ratted you out.

The poison hurts you, not the rat! But Jesus is merciful and longsuffering, a very present help in the time of trouble. That’s why Hebrews 4:16 said: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” So, please know, there is no counselor, no psychiatrist, no life coach, etc. that can be compared to the help you can receive from the God Who created not only you, but also everything and everybody.

God is the only God Who is omniscient (possessing all knowledge), omnipotent (possessing all power), omnipresent (everywhere at the same time), and omnivorous (having the ability to destroy everything)! So, Jesus is on the main line, call Him up (in prayer) and tell Him what you want!  Remember, Jesus Is Still the Answer and to every circumstance you encounter in life!
